Are You
Confused About Water
Ionisers ?
There is a lot of hype about water ionisers.
Questions that should be asked if
they are
not visible on the web site.
1) How long is the
Warranty ?
Our answer : 1 years parts and labour.
2) How soon, if needed
can the unit be repaired ?
Our answer : usually within 24 hours,
and then its back in post or whatever the customer has requested with their
return postage.
3) I live in a hard
water area, do you provide a free cleaning service ?
Our answer : yes we do, as long as
return postage is included with the unit.
Ionised water is made from water, by
separating the acid and alkaline minerals that are already existent within the water
supply.
This is why you cannot ionise or use an
ioniser with distilled or reverse osmosis water as the minerals have effectively
been taken out, so no ionisation can take place with these types of water.
If you are considering a distiller or
reverse osmosis you should first read :

Fact : 'any' type of ioniser can only ionise
the minerals that are in the water.
It cannot magically produce something that is not present within your water
supply e.g. the acid and alkaline minerals that are within your water supply.
But, we still read and hear 'hype' that they can produce more out of the water
supply because they are better ?
The Masterpiece unit has a facility
within the filter to accommodate for the need for other types of minerals if it
is felt that more ionised minerals are necessary or needed by the purchaser.
We supply these free minerals with the purchased unit so
that customers can choose and try, to see if they want more ionised minerals or not as the case
may be.

In hard water areas, you will find that
anything utilising water calcifies-up (excess calcium), this is another reason
why we do not supply extra calcium to our customers as there is already enough
within the water supply.
It is also another reason why we offer a free cleaning service because of the
calcifying-up, as long as the return postage is sent with the ioniser.
Bells, Whistles and Flashing
Lights
There are many units that can only be
described as having bells, whistles and flashing lights of no use whatsoever
from an ionisation process and our perspective.
One example of this is a unit that has an ultra violet light that
cleanses the water before its ionisation, sounds good ?
But, it also raises a question of how good the acid and alkaline water is that
the unit produces ?
Acid water
kills bacteria and so does
alkaline water, so why do they
need an ultra violet light
that doesn't really work on bacteria anyway, read on ..........
Why does a 'small ultra violet'
not work ?
Well ultra violet water cleansing units are normally 6 feet in length to be
effective on 'running water', as utilised within the beer brewing industry.
But, these miraculous units manage to do this task with approximately 1 inch of ultra
violet light over running water, plus after a period of time (12 moths maximum)
the
'little' ultra violet light
needs cleaning as it gets 'fogged-over' ?
Basically making it useless, unless cleaned regularly and even then it's highly
debatable as to what use it is anyway !
In contrast the Masterpiece unit is best described
as a good reliable stylish 'work horse', that cleans itself automatically every time you
use it.
This is why we can offer with confidence a 1 year
warranty.
