Pre-filter Kits

In many cases a pre-filter kit is the ideal way of connecting to your cold water supply to the Masterpiece unit.

Because the tap converter supplied with the Masterpiece does not fit all UK taps.

It also saves having a tap diverter hanging down in the sink and so restricting your access to the sink that you are normally used to.

If you already have a water faucet then all you need to do is attach the Masterpiece ioniser pipe to it by taking off the plastic nipple on the end of the faucet outlet pipe and then pushing the Masterpiece pipe on in its place.

This facilitates as an independent 'on and off' tap for your water supply to the Masterpiece.

So that when turned on the water pressure will turn on the Masterpiece so that the ionisation process can begin.

Complete pre-filter fitting kits are available for £35-00 plus P&P if required.

These can be fitted relatively easily by any competent DIY enthusiast in 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour.

The Water Gem comes complete with absolutely everything you need for simple DIY fitting, including clear step-by-step instructions.

There is no need to cut off the water supply or to cut any pipes.

The Water Gem can be fitted into all kitchen units and the tap can be installed on either surface-mounted or countersunk sink units.

The filter cartridge is easily replaced with simple push-in connectors.

Please make sure when fitting the filter brackets that the filter will be in a vertical position as in the photo.

Remove the plastic nipple on the end of the faucet so that the Masterpiece pipe can be pushed onto the faucet pipe.

Occasionally one common fault that we have come across with people fitting the Water Gem is that when they have punctured the cold water pipe with the screw in plunger but they do not unscrew it back out, this leaves them with a a slow / restricted water supply or no supply at all to the sink faucet.

Please make sure that you have unscrewed the plunger back out to get the maximum benefit and water pressure from your Water Gem unit.

The costs of P&P are £5-50p for a complete fitting kit posted separately on its own.

If the above 'kit' is ordered with a Masterpiece unit we will not charge extra P&P.
